Guangdong Star Super Textile Technology Co Ltd together with Thai Acrylic Fibre Co Ltd (TAF) has launched a new fabric made from acrylic fibre with Outlast technology blended with lyocell, wool and spandex to give superior performance for innerwear in China. The Outlast technology can strike the right balance between body heat production and heat loss.
“We have been producing Outlast fibre for a long time, and early this year, we started to do marketing activities to promote this fibre to brands and value chain. Since Outlast technology provides a proper balance between the body heat production and heat loss despite the change in air temperature, the person feels neither too cold nor too warm; we thought it would be a great fit for thermal innerwear. We are glad that Star Super was interested in this concept and agreed to try on the development,” Tuhin Kulshreshtha, head of marketing at TAF, said in a statement.
Guangdong Star Super Textile Technology was founded in 2013 with many patented textile technologies. Recently, it established its own R&D, marketing, QA, testing centre, and other core teams and systems.
“We always commit to the production concept of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection in order to protect consumers’ health and to provide comfortable wear. When TAF introduced us to Outlast, it fitted in with our vision. We have been giving services to many premium brands domestically and internationally, like Hong Kong, Japan, and Europe and we have received good feedback from them with this premium function from Outlast,” said Liu, general manager of Guangdong Star Super Textile Technology Co Ltd.
